AROME

Météo-France

High-resolution 2.5 km atmosphere for the Channel, Biscay, and western Mediterranean, updated every 6 hours. Routes use AROME where its fresh coverage and horizon qualify, with disclosed GFS substitution or blending beyond it.

The safety foundation

GEBCO 2024 bathymetry

15-arc-second coastal depth (~460 m cells) enforcing your draft to roughly a mile from shore, backed by ETOPO 2022 offshore. Where depth isn't trusted, routes say so per segment.

OpenStreetMap coastlines

High-resolution land polygons — every returned route segment is geometry-checked against them. Not grid cells: the actual line.

NOAA ENC nautical charts

Official electronic chart rasters for US waters as a map overlay. Chart data is never occluded by weather layers.
